About Councilmember Tyson
Niccole Tyson grew up in Pearland and moved to the great city of Manvel in 2014. Over the years, she has served as a volunteer for many local organizations and served on the Planning, Development, and Zoning board prior to joining City Council in 2020.
Niccole worked as a legal assistant for 5 years before deciding to change her focus to her passion for serving her local community. She is currently a licensed Realtor with Sparrow Realty in Manvel and has worked full time as the Event Director for New Hope Church’s 4 regional campuses for the past 6 ½ years, leading and coordinating large events such as Night to Shine and community-wide missional focused efforts.
In 2018, Niccole was recognized by the General Land Office for her contribution to local Hurricane Harvey relief where she helped coordinate a 9-month long relief program that ran out of a Pearland warehouse and distributed furniture, appliances, and other much-needed supplies to over 3000 local families.
Niccole is now representing the “city on the rise” as Council Member Position 3 and looks forward to being a part of the future!
